Psalm 118:12-14

New International Version

¹²They swarmed around me like bees,^(A)
    but they were consumed as quickly as burning thorns;^(B)
    in the name of the Lord I cut them down.^(C)
¹³I was pushed back and about to fall,
    but the Lord helped me.^(D)
¹⁴The Lord is my strength^(E) and my defense^[a];
    he has become my salvation.^(F)
