Psalm 116:5-9

^5 (A)Gracious is the Lord, and ^(B)righteous;
    our God is ^(C)merciful.
⁶ The Lord preserves ^(D)the simple;
    when ^(E)I was brought low, he saved me.
⁷ Return, O my soul, to your ^(F)rest;
    for the Lord has ^(G)dealt bountifully with you.

⁸ For ^(H)you have delivered my soul from death,
    my eyes from tears,
    my feet from stumbling;
⁹ I will walk before the Lord
    ^(I)in the land of the living.
