God’s Deliverance of Israel
1 When Israel came out of Egypt—
the house of Jacob from a people
who spoke a foreign language(A)—
2 Judah became his sanctuary,
Israel, his dominion.(B)

The house of Jacob (C)from a people [a]of strange language,
2 (D)Judah became His sanctuary,
And Israel His dominion.
3 (E)The sea saw it and fled;
(F)Jordan turned back.
4 (G)The mountains skipped like rams,
The little hills like lambs.
5 (H)What ails you, O sea, that you fled?
O Jordan, that you turned back?
6 O mountains, that you skipped like rams?
O little hills, like lambs?
7 Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord,
At the presence of the God of Jacob,
8 (I)Who turned the rock into a pool of water,
The flint into a fountain of waters.

114 Nakatira noon ang mga taga-Israel na lahi ni Jacob sa Egipto,
na kung saan iba ang wika ng mga tao.
2 Nang papalabas na sila sa Egipto, ginawa ng Dios na banal na lugar ang Juda,
at ang Israel ay kanyang pinamunuan.
3 Ang Dagat na Pula ay nahawi at ang Ilog ng Jordan ay tumigil sa pag-agos.
4 Nayanig ang mga bundok at burol,
na parang mga lumulundag na kambing at mga tupa.
5 Bakit nahawi ang Dagat na Pula,
at tumigil sa kanyang pag-agos ang Ilog ng Jordan?
6 Bakit nayayanig ang mga bundok at mga burol,
na parang lumulundag na mga kambing at tupa?
7 Nayayanig ang mundo sa presensya ng Panginoong Dios ni Jacob,
8 na siyang gumawa sa matigas na bato upang maging imbakan ng tubig at naging bukal na umaagos.
