Psalm 113
Praise to the Merciful God
1 Hallelujah!
Give praise, servants of the Lord;
praise the name of the Lord.(A)
2 Let the name of the Lord be blessed
both now and forever.(B)
3 From the rising of the sun to its setting,
let the name of the Lord be praised.(C)
4 The Lord is exalted above all the nations,(D)
his glory above the heavens.(E)
5 Who is like the Lord our God—
the one enthroned on high,(F)
6 who stoops down to look
on the heavens and the earth?(G)
7 He raises the poor from the dust
and lifts the needy from the trash heap(H)
8 in order to seat them with nobles—
with the nobles of his people.(I)
9 He gives the childless woman a household,
making her the joyful mother of children.(J)

The Majesty and Condescension of God
113 Praise[a] the Lord!
(A)Praise, O servants of the Lord,
Praise the name of the Lord!
2 (B)Blessed be the name of the Lord
From this time forth and forevermore!
3 (C)From the rising of the sun to its going down
The Lord’s name is to be praised.
4 The Lord is (D)high above all nations,
(E)His glory above the heavens.
5 (F)Who is like the Lord our God,
Who dwells on high,
6 (G)Who humbles Himself to behold
The things that are in the heavens and in the earth?
7 (H)He raises the poor out of the dust,
And lifts the (I)needy out of the ash heap,
8 That He may (J)seat him with princes—
With the princes of His people.
9 (K)He grants the [b]barren woman a home,
Like a joyful mother of children.
Praise the Lord!

113 Purihin nʼyo ang Panginoon!
Kayong mga lingkod ng Panginoon, purihin nʼyo siya!
2 Purihin nʼyo ang Panginoon,
ngayon at magpakailanman.
3 Mula sa pagsikat hanggang sa paglubog ng araw,
ang pangalan ng Panginoon ay dapat papurihan.
4 Maghahari ang Panginoon sa lahat ng bansa,
ang kanyang kaluwalhatian ay hindi mapapantayan.
5 Walang katulad ang Panginoon na ating Dios,
na nakaupo sa kanyang trono sa itaas.
6 Yumuyuko siya upang tingnan ang kalangitan at ang sanlibutan.
7 Tinutulungan niya ang mga dukha at nangangailangan sa kanilang kagipitan.
8 At silaʼy pinararangalang kasama ng mararangal na tao
mula sa kanyang mga mamamayan.
9 Pinaliligaya niya ang baog na babae sa tahanan nito,
sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay sa kanya ng mga anak.
