They will have no fear of bad news;
    their hearts are steadfast,(A) trusting in the Lord.(B)
Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear;(C)
    in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.(D)
They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor,(E)
    their righteousness endures(F) forever;
    their horn[a] will be lifted(G) high in honor.

10 The wicked will see(H) and be vexed,
    they will gnash their teeth(I) and waste away;(J)
    the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.(K)
