Announcement of the Messiah’s Reign(A)

A Psalm of David.

110 The (B)Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your (C)footstool.”
The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength (D)out of Zion.
(E)Rule in the midst of Your enemies!

(F)Your people shall be volunteers
In the day of Your power;
(G)In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning,
You have the dew of Your youth.
The Lord has sworn
And (H)will not relent,
“You are a (I)priest forever
According to the order of (J)Melchizedek.”

The Lord is (K)at Your right hand;
He shall [a]execute kings (L)in the day of His wrath.
He shall judge among the nations,
He shall fill the places with dead bodies,
(M)He shall [b]execute the heads of many countries.
He shall drink of the brook by the wayside;
(N)Therefore He shall lift up the head.

Un psalm al lui David

Domnul(A) a zis Domnului meu: „Şezi la dreapta Mea
până voi pune pe vrăjmaşii Tăi sub picioarele Tale.” –
Domnul va întinde din Sion toiagul de cârmuire al puterii Tale, zicând:
„Stăpâneşte în mijlocul vrăjmaşilor Tăi!”
Poporul(B) Tău este plin de înflăcărare când Îţi aduni oştirea;
cu(C) podoabe sfinte, ca din sânul zorilor,
vine tineretul Tău la Tine, ca roua.
Domnul a jurat, şi nu-I(D) va părea rău:
Tu(E) eşti preot în veac,
în felul lui Melhisedec. –
Domnul, de la(F) dreapta Ta,
zdrobeşte pe împăraţi în(G) ziua mâniei Lui.
El face dreptate printre neamuri:
totul este plin de trupuri moarte;
El zdrobeşte(H) capete pe toată întinderea ţării.
El bea din(I) pârâu în timpul mersului,
de(J) aceea Îşi înalţă capul.

Psalm 110

Of David. A psalm.

The Lord says(A) to my lord:[a]

“Sit at my right hand(B)
    until I make your enemies
    a footstool for your feet.”(C)

The Lord will extend your mighty scepter(D) from Zion,(E) saying,
    “Rule(F) in the midst of your enemies!”
Your troops will be willing
    on your day of battle.
Arrayed in holy splendor,(G)
    your young men will come to you
    like dew from the morning’s womb.[b](H)

The Lord has sworn
    and will not change his mind:(I)
“You are a priest forever,(J)
    in the order of Melchizedek.(K)

The Lord is at your right hand[c];(L)
    he will crush kings(M) on the day of his wrath.(N)
He will judge the nations,(O) heaping up the dead(P)
    and crushing the rulers(Q) of the whole earth.
He will drink from a brook along the way,[d]
    and so he will lift his head high.(R)

110 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.
