110 (Ein Psalm Davids.) Der HERR sprach zu meinem Herrn: "Setze dich zu meiner Rechten, bis ich deine Feinde zum Schemel deiner Füße lege."

2 Der HERR wird das Zepter deines Reiches senden aus Zion: "Herrsche unter deinen Feinden!"

3 Nach deinem Sieg wird dir dein Volk willig opfern in heiligem Schmuck. Deine Kinder werden dir geboren wie der Tau aus der Morgenröte.

4 Der HERR hat geschworen, und es wird ihn nicht gereuen: "Du ist ein Priester ewiglich nach der Weise Melchisedeks."

5 Der HERR zu deiner Rechten wird zerschmettern die Könige am Tage seines Zorns;

6 er wird richten unter den Heiden; er wird ein großes Schlagen unter ihnen tun; er wird zerschmettern das Haupt über große Lande.

7 Er wird trinken vom Bach auf dem Wege; darum wird er das Haupt emporheben.

1 Ein Psalm Davids.[a]

Der Herr sprach zu meinem Herrn:
Setze dich zu meiner Rechten,
bis ich deine Feinde hinlege
als Schemel für deine Füße!

2 Der Herr wird das Zepter deiner Macht ausstrecken von Zion:
Herrsche inmitten deiner Feinde!

3 Dein Volk ist willig am Tag deines Kriegszuges;
in heiligem Schmuck, aus dem Schoß der Morgenröte,
tritt der Tau deiner Jungmannschaft hervor.

4 Der Herr hat geschworen,
und es wird ihn nicht gereuen:
Du bist Priester in Ewigkeit
nach der Weise Melchisedeks![b]

5 Der Herr zu deiner Rechten
zerschmettert Könige am Tag seines Zorns.

6 Er wird Gericht halten unter den Heiden,
es wird viele Leichen geben;
er zerschmettert das Haupt über ein großes Land.

7 Er wird trinken aus dem Bach am
Weg;
darum wird er das Haupt erheben.

Psalm 110

Of David. A psalm.

1 The Lord says(A) to my lord:[a]

“Sit at my right hand(B)
    until I make your enemies
    a footstool for your feet.”(C)

2 The Lord will extend your mighty scepter(D) from Zion,(E) saying,
    “Rule(F) in the midst of your enemies!”
3 Your troops will be willing
    on your day of battle.
Arrayed in holy splendor,(G)
    your young men will come to you
    like dew from the morning’s womb.[b](H)

4 The Lord has sworn
    and will not change his mind:(I)
“You are a priest forever,(J)
    in the order of Melchizedek.(K)”

5 The Lord is at your right hand[c];(L)
    he will crush kings(M) on the day of his wrath.(N)
6 He will judge the nations,(O) heaping up the dead(P)
    and crushing the rulers(Q) of the whole earth.
7 He will drink from a brook along the way,[d]
    and so he will lift his head high.(R)

110 The (B)Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your (C)footstool.”
2 The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength (D)out of Zion.
(E)Rule in the midst of Your enemies!

3 (F)Your people shall be volunteers
In the day of Your power;
(G)In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning,
You have the dew of Your youth.
4 The Lord has sworn
And (H)will not relent,
“You are a (I)priest forever
According to the order of (J)Melchizedek.”

5 The Lord is (K)at Your right hand;
He shall [a]execute kings (L)in the day of His wrath.
6 He shall judge among the nations,
He shall fill the places with dead bodies,
(M)He shall [b]execute the heads of many countries.
7 He shall drink of the brook by the wayside;
(N)Therefore He shall lift up the head.
