He Will Tread Down Our Adversaries

A Song. A Psalm of David.

108 (A)My heart is set, O God;
I will sing, I will sing praises, even with my glory.
Awake, harp and lyre;
I will awaken the dawn!
I will give thanks to You, O Yahweh, among the peoples,
And I will sing praises to You among the nations.
For Your (B)lovingkindness is great (C)above the heavens,
And Your truth reaches to the skies.
(D)Be exalted above the heavens, O God,
And Your glory above all the earth.
(E)That Your beloved may be rescued,
Save with Your right hand, and answer me!

God has spoken in His [a]holiness:
“I will exult, I will portion out Shechem
And measure out the valley of Succoth.
Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine;
Ephraim also is the [b]helmet of My head;
(F)Judah is My [c]scepter.
Moab is My washbowl;
Over Edom I shall throw My shoe;
Over Philistia I will make a loud shout.”

10 (G)Who will bring me into the well-defended city?
Who [d]will lead me to Edom?
11 Have You, O God, not (H)rejected us?
And will You, O God, not go forth with our armies?
12 Oh give us help against the adversary,
For (I)salvation [e]by man is worthless.
13 [f]Through God we shall do valiantly,
And (J)it is He who will tread down our adversaries.

Salmo 108

Alabanza y súplica

Cántico. Salmo de David.

108 (A)Mi corazón está firme, oh Dios;
Cantaré, cantaré alabanzas, aun con mi alma[a].
¡Despierten, arpa y lira!
¡A la aurora despertaré!
Te daré gracias entre los pueblos, Señor;
«Me alegraré, repartiré a Siquem
Y mediré el valle de Sucot.
-»Mío es Galaad, Mío es Manasés,
Efraín es el casco de Mi cabeza,
Judá es Mi cetro(E).
-»Moab es la vasija en que me lavo;
Sobre Edom arrojaré Mi calzado;
Y Él pisoteará a nuestros adversarios(I).
