Psalm 106
King James Version
106 Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? who can shew forth all his praise?
3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.
4 Remember me, O Lord, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
5 That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.
6 We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.
7 Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
8 Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
9 He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
10 And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
11 And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
12 Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.
13 They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:
14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.
15 And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
16 They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the Lord.
17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan and covered the company of Abiram.
18 And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
19 They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
20 Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.
21 They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;
22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.
23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.
24 Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:
25 But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the Lord.
26 Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:
27 To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.
28 They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
29 Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.
30 Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.
31 And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.
32 They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:
33 Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.
34 They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the Lord commanded them:
35 But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
36 And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.
37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
40 Therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
41 And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.
42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
43 Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.
44 Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:
45 And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
46 He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.
47 Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.
48 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.

Palabra de Dios para Todos
El Dios de Israel
1 ¡Aleluya!
Den gracias al SEÑOR, porque él es bueno;
su fiel amor dura para siempre.
2 ¿Quién puede describir lo grande que es el SEÑOR?
¿O alabar a Dios de la manera que él merece?
3 Afortunados los que practican la justicia
y siempre hacen lo que es justo.
4 SEÑOR, recuérdame cuando tengas compasión de tu pueblo;
fíjate en mí cuando traigas salvación,
5 para que yo vea la prosperidad de tus elegidos;
me alegre y llene de orgullo de la gente que es tu propiedad.
6 Hemos pecado al igual que nuestros antepasados;
hemos actuado mal e hicimos cosas malas.
7 Nuestros antepasados en Egipto
no apreciaron los milagros que hiciste;
olvidaron las numerosas obras de tu fiel amor.
Allí junto al mar Rojo,
nuestros antepasados te dieron la espalda.
8 Pero Dios los salvó por el prestigio de su nombre
para mostrar su gran poder.
9 Reprendió al mar Rojo y se secó;
y los llevó por el mar profundo
como si pasaran por un desierto.
10 Los libró de sus enemigos,
del poder de quienes los odiaban.
11 Las aguas sepultaron a sus enemigos
y no quedó ni uno vivo.
12 Entonces ellos creyeron en sus promesas
y le entonaron canciones de alabanza.
13 Pero pronto se olvidaron de lo que Dios hizo por ellos;
no prestaron atención al consejo que Dios les dio.
14 Nuestros antepasados tuvieron deseos desordenados,
y pusieron a prueba a Dios en el desierto.
15 Dios les dio lo que le pidieron,
pero también les dio una enfermedad terrible.
16 Tuvieron envidia de Moisés en el campamento,
y de Aarón el consagrado del SEÑOR.
17 La tierra se abrió y se tragó a Datán;
se cerró y cubrió al grupo de Abirán.
18 Después, el fuego consumió a ese grupo,
quemó a todos esos perversos.
19 Hicieron un becerro en el monte Horeb
y se postraron ante una imagen de fundición.
20 Cambiaron al Dios glorioso
por la imagen de un toro que come hierba.
21 Dios salvó a nuestros antepasados,
pero ellos se olvidaron de él.
Se olvidaron de los milagros que Dios hizo en Egipto,
22 de las maravillas que hizo en el país de Cam
y de las cosas asombrosas que hizo en el mar Rojo.
23 Dios quiso destruirlos,
pero Moisés, su elegido, se puso entre Dios y el pueblo.
Aunque Dios estaba furioso,
Moisés evitó que destruyera a su pueblo.
24 Sin embargo, esa gente se negó a entrar en la tierra hermosa;
no creían en las promesas de Dios.
25 En sus carpas se quejaban del SEÑOR
y se negaron a obedecer lo que les ordenaba.
26 Entonces Dios levantó su mano
para que murieran en el desierto,
27 para que sus descendientes cayeran ante sus enemigos,
y para dispersarlos entre las naciones.
28 Luego, se unieron en la adoración de Baal Peor,
y comieron de lo sacrificado a los muertos[a].
29 Provocaron a Dios con sus hechos,
y les cayó una plaga.
30 Pero Finés decidió hacer lo que era necesario y correcto,
y la plaga se detuvo.
31 Dios le tomó en cuenta lo que hizo
y lo consideró un acto de justicia,
para siempre y de generación en generación.
32 Hicieron enojar al SEÑOR en Meribá
y por culpa de ellos le fue muy mal a Moisés,
33 pues lo importunaron tanto
que él habló sin pensar.
34 No destruyeron a los pueblos
que el SEÑOR les había dicho que destruyeran.
35 Al contrario, se mezclaron con los paganos
y asimilaron sus costumbres.
36 Adoraron a los ídolos de ellos
y eso se les convirtió en una trampa,
37 pues resultaron ofreciendo a sus propios hijos e hijas
como sacrificio a esos demonios.
38 Derramaron sangre inocente,
la de sus hijos e hijas
al sacrificarlos a los ídolos de Canaán.
La tierra se contaminó con su sangre.
39 Contaminaron su vida
y se prostituyeron con todas sus maldades.
40 El SEÑOR se enojó con su pueblo,
se cansó de la gente que heredó.
41 Los entregó a otras naciones;
dejó que sus enemigos los gobernaran.
42 Los enemigos los oprimieron
y bajo su poder fueron humillados.
43 Dios salvó a su pueblo muchas veces,
pero ellos se pusieron en contra de él
y se hundieron en su maldad.
44 Pero al verlos llenos de angustia
y al escuchar sus gritos pidiendo ayuda,
45 Dios recordó el pacto que había hecho con ellos,
y debido a su fiel amor cambió de parecer.
46 Hizo que sus opresores
les tuvieran compasión.
47 Sálvanos, SEÑOR Dios nuestro,
reúnenos de entre las naciones
para agradecer a tu santo nombre
y alabarte con orgullo.
48 Bendito sea el SEÑOR, Dios de Israel,
que siempre ha vivido y siempre vivirá.
Y todo el pueblo dijo: «Así sea».
