Psalm 106:6-12

New American Standard Bible

^6 (A)We have sinned ^[a](B)like our fathers,
We have gone astray, we have behaved wickedly.
⁷ Our fathers in Egypt did not understand Your ^[b]wonders;
They ^(C)did not remember ^[c]Your abundant kindnesses,
But ^(D)rebelled by the sea, at the ^[d]Red Sea.
⁸ Nevertheless He saved them ^(E)for the sake of His name,
So that He might ^(F)make His power known.
⁹ So He ^(G)rebuked the ^[e]Red Sea and it ^(H)dried up,
And He ^(I)led them through the mighty waters, as through the wilderness.
¹⁰ So He ^(J)saved them from the ^[f]hand of one who hated them,
And ^(K)redeemed them from the ^[g]hand of the enemy.
^11 (L)The waters covered their adversaries;
Not one of them was left.
¹² Then they ^(M)believed His words;
They ^(N)sang His praise.
