(A)We have sinned [a](B)like our fathers,
We have gone astray, we have behaved wickedly.
Our fathers in Egypt did not understand Your [b]wonders;
They (C)did not remember [c]Your abundant kindnesses,
But (D)rebelled by the sea, at the [d]Red Sea.
Nevertheless He saved them (E)for the sake of His name,
So that He might (F)make His power known.
So He (G)rebuked the [e]Red Sea and it (H)dried up,
And He (I)led them through the mighty waters, as through the wilderness.
10 So He (J)saved them from the [f]hand of one who hated them,
And (K)redeemed them from the [g]hand of the enemy.
11 (L)The waters covered their adversaries;
Not one of them was left.
12 Then they (M)believed His words;
They (N)sang His praise.
