Psalm 106:36-42

³⁶They served their idols,
    which became ^(A)a snare to them.
³⁷They ^(B)sacrificed their sons
    and their daughters to ^(C)the demons;
³⁸they poured out innocent blood,
    the blood of their sons and daughters,
whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan,
    and the land was ^(D)polluted with blood.
³⁹Thus they ^(E)became unclean by their acts,
    and ^(F)played the whore in their deeds.

⁴⁰Then ^(G)the anger of the Lord was kindled against ^(H)his people,
    and he abhorred his ^(I)heritage;
⁴¹he ^(J)gave them into the hand of the nations,
    so that those who hated them ruled over them.
⁴²Their enemies ^(K)oppressed them,
    and they were brought into subjection under their power.
