The Lord wraps(A) himself in light(B) as with a garment;
    he stretches(C) out the heavens(D) like a tent(E)
    and lays the beams(F) of his upper chambers on their waters.(G)
He makes the clouds(H) his chariot(I)
    and rides on the wings of the wind.(J)
He makes winds his messengers,[a](K)
    flames of fire(L) his servants.

He set the earth(M) on its foundations;(N)
    it can never be moved.
You covered it(O) with the watery depths(P) as with a garment;
    the waters stood(Q) above the mountains.
But at your rebuke(R) the waters fled,
    at the sound of your thunder(S) they took to flight;
they flowed over the mountains,
    they went down into the valleys,
    to the place you assigned(T) for them.
You set a boundary(U) they cannot cross;
    never again will they cover the earth.
