Psalm 104:2-9
New International Version
2 The Lord wraps(A) himself in light(B) as with a garment;
he stretches(C) out the heavens(D) like a tent(E)
3 and lays the beams(F) of his upper chambers on their waters.(G)
He makes the clouds(H) his chariot(I)
and rides on the wings of the wind.(J)
4 He makes winds his messengers,[a](K)
flames of fire(L) his servants.
5 He set the earth(M) on its foundations;(N)
it can never be moved.
6 You covered it(O) with the watery depths(P) as with a garment;
the waters stood(Q) above the mountains.
7 But at your rebuke(R) the waters fled,
at the sound of your thunder(S) they took to flight;
8 they flowed over the mountains,
they went down into the valleys,
to the place you assigned(T) for them.
9 You set a boundary(U) they cannot cross;
never again will they cover the earth.
