Psalm 104:2-9

New International Version

² The Lord wraps^(A) himself in light^(B) as with a garment;
    he stretches^(C) out the heavens^(D) like a tent^(E)
3     and lays the beams^(F) of his upper chambers on their waters.^(G)
He makes the clouds^(H) his chariot^(I)
    and rides on the wings of the wind.^(J)
4 He makes winds his messengers,^[a](K)
    flames of fire^(L) his servants.

⁵ He set the earth^(M) on its foundations;^(N)
    it can never be moved.
⁶ You covered it^(O) with the watery depths^(P) as with a garment;
    the waters stood^(Q) above the mountains.
⁷ But at your rebuke^(R) the waters fled,
    at the sound of your thunder^(S) they took to flight;
⁸ they flowed over the mountains,
    they went down into the valleys,
    to the place you assigned^(T) for them.
⁹ You set a boundary^(U) they cannot cross;
    never again will they cover the earth.
