¹² As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He ^(A)removed our wrongdoings from us.

So the Lord has compassion on those who ^[a]fear Him.
¹⁴ For ^(C)He Himself knows ^[b]our form;
He ^(D)is mindful that we are nothing but ^(E)dust.

¹⁵ As for man, his days are ^(F)like grass;
Like a ^(G)flower of the field, so he flourishes.
¹⁶ When the ^(H)wind has passed over it, it is no more,
And its ^(I)place no longer knows about it.
¹⁷ But the ^[c](J)mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting for those who ^[d]fear Him,
And His justice ^(K)to the children’s children,
¹⁸ To ^(L)those who keep His covenant
And remember His precepts, so as to do them.
