Psalm 100

Be Thankful

A psalm of thanksgiving.

¹Shout triumphantly to the Lord, all the earth.^(A)
²Serve the Lord with gladness;
come before Him with joyful songs.^(B)
³Acknowledge that Yahweh is God.
He made us, and we are His^[a]^(C) —
His people, the sheep of His pasture.^(D)
⁴Enter His gates with thanksgiving^(E)
and His courts with praise.
Give thanks to Him and praise His name.^(F)
⁵For Yahweh is good, and His love is eternal;
His faithfulness endures through all generations.

100 ^1-2On your feet now—applaud God!
Bring a gift of laughter,
sing yourselves into his presence.

³Know this: God is God, and God, God.
He made us; we didn’t make him.
We’re his people, his well-tended sheep.

⁴Enter with the password: “Thank you!”
Make yourselves at home, talking praise.
Thank him. Worship him.

⁵For God is sheer beauty,
all-generous in love,
loyal always and ever.
