¹⁰ For we are God’s handiwork,^(A) created^(B) in Christ Jesus to do good works,^(C) which God prepared in advance for us to do.

¹⁹ So then, those who suffer according to God’s will^(A) should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.

³⁰ Then they will know that I, the Lord their God, am with them and that they, the Israelites, are my people, declares the Sovereign Lord.^{(A) 31} You are my sheep,^(B) the sheep of my pasture,^(C) and I am your God, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”

²⁰ We know also that the Son of God has come^(A) and has given us understanding,^(B) so that we may know him who is true.^(C) And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.^(D)
