Psalm 9:13-20

New American Standard Bible

¹³ Be gracious to me, Lord;
See my oppression from those ^(A)who hate me,
You who ^(B)lift me up from the gates of death,
¹⁴ So that I may tell of ^(C)all Your praises,
That in the gates of the daughter of Zion
I may ^(D)rejoice in Your ^[a]salvation.
¹⁵ The nations have sunk down ^(E)into the pit which they have made;
In the ^(F)net which they hid, their own foot has been caught.
¹⁶ The Lord has ^(G)made Himself known;
He has ^(H)executed judgment.
A wicked one is ensnared in the work of his own hands. ^[b]Higgaion Selah

¹⁷ The wicked will ^[c](I)return to ^[d]Sheol,
All the nations who ^(J)forget God.
¹⁸ For the ^(K)needy will not always be forgotten,
Nor the ^(L)hope of the afflicted perish forever.
^19 (M)Arise, Lord, do not let mankind prevail;
Let the nations be ^(N)judged before You.
²⁰ Put them ^(O)in fear, Lord;
Let the nations know that they are ^(P)merely human. Selah
