⁵ You ^(A)sweep them away as with a flood; they are like ^(B)a dream,
    like ^(C)grass that is renewed in the morning:
⁶ in ^(D)the morning it flourishes and is renewed;
    in the evening it ^(E)fades and ^(F)withers.

^12 (A)So teach us to number our days
    that we may get a heart of wisdom.

^12 (A)The righteous flourish like the palm tree
    and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
¹³ They are planted in the house of the Lord;
    they flourish in ^(B)the courts of our God.
¹⁴ They still bear fruit in old age;
    they are ever full of sap and green,
^15 (C)to declare that the Lord is upright;
    he is my ^(D)rock, and there is ^(E)no unrighteousness in him.
