Psalm 89
A psalm[a] of Ethan the Ezrahite.
1 I will sing of the Lord’s unfailing love forever!
Young and old will hear of your faithfulness.
2 Your unfailing love will last forever.
Your faithfulness is as enduring as the heavens.
3 The Lord said, “I have made a covenant with David, my chosen servant.
I have sworn this oath to him:
4 ‘I will establish your descendants as kings forever;
they will sit on your throne from now until eternity.’” Interlude
5 All heaven will praise your great wonders, Lord;
myriads of angels will praise you for your faithfulness.
6 For who in all of heaven can compare with the Lord?
What mightiest angel is anything like the Lord?
7 The highest angelic powers stand in awe of God.
He is far more awesome than all who surround his throne.
8 O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies!
Where is there anyone as mighty as you, O Lord?
You are entirely faithful.
9 You rule the oceans.
You subdue their storm-tossed waves.
10 You crushed the great sea monster.[b]
You scattered your enemies with your mighty arm.
11 The heavens are yours, and the earth is yours;
everything in the world is yours—you created it all.
12 You created north and south.
Mount Tabor and Mount Hermon praise your name.
13 Powerful is your arm!
Strong is your hand!
Your right hand is lifted high in glorious strength.

Ang Kasabotan sa Dios kang David
89 Ginoo, awiton ko kanunay ang imong dakong gugma.
Isugilon ko ang imong pagkamatinumanon sa umaabot nga henerasyon.
2 Imantala ko nga ang imong gugma molungtad sa walay kataposan,
ug magpadayon kini sama sa langit.
3 Miingon ka, “Naghimo ako ug kasabotan sa akong alagad nga si David, nga akong gipili nga mahimong hari.
Ug mao kini ang akong gisaad kaniya:
4 ‘Ang matag hari sa Israel maggikan sa imong mga kaliwat hangtod sa kahangtoran;
ang imong gingharian magpadayon sa walay kataposan.’ ”
5 Ginoo, ang langitnon nga mga binuhat nagadayeg sa imong katingalahang mga buhat ug sa imong pagkamatinumanon.
6 Walay bisan usa sa langit nga sama kanimo, Ginoo.
Walay langitnon nga mga binuhat[a] nga ikatandi kanimo.
7 Ginatahod ikaw diha sa panagtigom sa langitnon nga mga binuhat.
Silang tanan nga nagalibot kanimo may kahadlok gayod kanimo.
8 Ginoong Dios nga Makagagahom, walay bisan kinsa nga sama kanimo;
gamhanan ka ug matinumanon ka sa tanan mong ginahimo.
9 Gigamhan mo ang mapintas nga dagat;
gipalinaw mo ang iyang dagkong mga balod.
10 Gidugmok mo ang dragon nga si Rahab,[b] ug namatay kini.
Pinaagi sa imong gahom gikatag mo ang imong mga kaaway.
11 Imo ang langit ug ang kalibotan;
gibuhat mo ang kalibotan ug ang tanang anaa niini.
12 Gihimo mo ang amihan ug ang habagatan.
Ang Bukid sa Tabor ug ang Bukid sa Hermon sama sa mga tawo nga nagaawit sa kalipay alang kanimo.
13 Gamhanan ka gayod! Labihan ka kakusgan!
