Psalm 79:8-10

⁸^(A)Do not ^[a]hold us responsible for ^[b]the guilty deeds of our forefathers;
Let Your compassion come quickly to ^(B)meet us,
For we have ^(C)become very low.
⁹^(D)Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of ^(E)Your name;
And save us and ^[c]^(F)forgive our sins ^(G)for the sake of Your name.
¹⁰^(H)Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?”
Let ^(I)vengeance for the blood of Your servants which has been shed
Be known among the nations in our sight.
