They smash with hatchet and ^[b]hammers.
⁷ They have ^(F)set Your sanctuary on fire;
By bringing it to the ground, they have ^(G)defiled the dwelling place of Your name.
⁸ They ^(H)said in their heart, “Let us ^[c]completely ^[d]subdue them.”
They have burned all the meeting places of God in the land.
