^11 (A)persecutions, and ^(B)sufferings, such as happened to me at ^(C)Antioch, at ^(D)Iconium, and at ^(E)Lystra. What ^(F)persecutions I endured, and out of them all ^(G)the Lord rescued me! ¹² Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus ^(H)will be persecuted.

¹³ But evil men and impostors ^(I)will proceed from bad to worse, ^(J)deceiving and being deceived.

¹⁴ But you, ^(K)continue in the things you learned and became convinced of, knowing from whom you learned them, ¹⁵ and that ^(L)from childhood you have known ^(M)the sacred writings which are able to ^(N)make you wise unto ^(O)salvation through faith which is in ^(P)Christ Jesus. ^16 (Q)All Scripture is ^[a]God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for ^[b]training in righteousness, ¹⁷ so that ^(R)the man of God may be equipped, having been ^(S)thoroughly equipped for every good work.
