Psalm 7:12

English Standard Version

¹²If a man^[a] does not repent, God^[b] will ^(A)whet his sword;
he has ^(B)bent and ^(C)readied his bow;

¹²If he does not relent,^(A)
he^[a] will sharpen his sword;^(B)
he will bend and string his bow.^(C)

²for behold, the wicked ^(A)bend the bow;
^(B)they have fitted their arrow to the string
to shoot in the dark at the upright in heart;

²For look, the wicked bend their bows;^(A)
they set their arrows^(B) against the strings
to shoot from the shadows^(C)
at the upright in heart.^(D)
