16 Come and hear, all you who fear God,
And I will declare what He has done for my soul.
17 I cried to Him with my mouth,
And He was [a]extolled with my tongue.
18 (A)If I regard iniquity in my heart,
The Lord will not hear.
19 But certainly God (B)has heard me;
He has attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 Blessed be God,
Who has not turned away my prayer,
Nor His mercy from me!

let me tell(B) you what he has done for me.
17 I cried out to him with my mouth;
his praise was on my tongue.
18 If I had cherished sin in my heart,
the Lord would not have listened;(C)
19 but God has surely listened
and has heard(D) my prayer.
20 Praise be to God,
who has not rejected(E) my prayer
or withheld his love from me!
