52 Why do you ^(A)boast in evil, O mighty man?
The ^(B)lovingkindness of God endures all day long.

^9 [a]The expression of their faces answers against them,
And they declare their sin like ^(A)Sodom;
They do not even conceal it.
Woe to their soul!
For they have ^(B)dealt out evil on themselves.

³ Therefore the ^(A)showers have been withheld,
And the ^[a]late rain has not ^[b]come.
Yet you had a ^(B)harlot’s forehead;
You refused to feel dishonor.

¹⁵ Were they ^(A)ashamed because of the abomination they have done?
They were not even ashamed at all;
They did not even know how to feel dishonor.
Therefore they shall fall among those who fall;
At the time that I punish them,
They shall be cast down,” says Yahweh.

⁵ Yahweh is ^(A)righteous ^(B)in her midst;
He will ^(C)do no injustice.
^(D)Every morning He brings His justice to light;
^[a]He does not fail.
But the unjust ^(E)knows no shame.
