3 For I (A)know my wrongdoings,
And my sin is constantly before me.
4 (B)Against You, You only, I have sinned
And done what is (C)evil in Your sight,
So that (D)You [a]are justified [b]when You speak
And [c]blameless when You judge.
5 Behold, I was (E)brought forth in guilt,
And in sin my mother conceived me.
6 Behold, You desire (F)truth in the [d]innermost being,
And in secret You will (G)make wisdom known to me.
