10 (A)Create in me a (B)clean heart, O God,
    and (C)renew a right[a] spirit within me.
11 (D)Cast me not away from your presence,
    and take not (E)your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation,
    and uphold me with a willing spirit.

13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
    and sinners will (F)return to you.

    what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”[a]

19 Therefore let those who suffer according to God's will (H)entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good.
