Psalm 46:5-10
New International Version
5 God is within her,(A) she will not fall;(B)
God will help(C) her at break of day.
6 Nations(D) are in uproar,(E) kingdoms(F) fall;
he lifts his voice,(G) the earth melts.(H)
8 Come and see what the Lord has done,(M)
the desolations(N) he has brought on the earth.
9 He makes wars(O) cease
to the ends of the earth.
He breaks the bow(P) and shatters the spear;
he burns the shields[a] with fire.(Q)
10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;(R)
I will be exalted(S) among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”

6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
8 Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
