The Word Became Flesh

1 ^(A)In the beginning was ^(B)the Word, and ^(C)the Word was with God, and ^(D)the Word was God.

⁵ And now, Father, ^(A)glorify me in your own presence with the glory ^(B)that I had with you ^(C)before the world existed.

³ But Peter said, “Ananias, why has ^(A)Satan filled your heart to lie ^(B)to the Holy Spirit and ^(C)to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land? ⁴ While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to man but ^(D)to God.”

⁵ To them belong ^(A)the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ, ^(B)who is God over all, ^(C)blessed forever. Amen.

⁹ For ^(A)in him the whole fullness of deity dwells ^(B)bodily,

^24 (A)Now to him who is able ^(B)to keep you from stumbling and ^(C)to present you ^(D)blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, ²⁵ to ^(E)the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, ^(F)be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time^[a] and now and forever.
