²³Awake,^(A) Lord! Why do you sleep?^(B)
Rouse yourself!^(C) Do not reject us forever.^(D)

²⁰Like a ^(A)dream when one awakes,
O Lord, when ^(B)aroused, You will ^(C)despise their ^[a]form.

²⁰They are like a dream^(A) when one awakes;^(B)
when you arise, Lord,
you will despise them as fantasies.^(C)
