⁶ My soul is downcast within me;
    therefore I will remember^(A) you
from the land of the Jordan,^(B)
    the heights of Hermon^(C)—from Mount Mizar.

¹⁷ I will perpetuate your memory through all generations;^(A)
    therefore the nations will praise you^(B) for ever and ever.^(C)

¹⁶ I will come and proclaim your mighty acts,^(A) Sovereign Lord;
    I will proclaim your righteous deeds, yours alone.
¹⁷ Since my youth, God, you have taught^(B) me,
    and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.^(C)
18 Even when I am old and gray,^(D)
    do not forsake me, my God,
till I declare your power^(E) to the next generation,
