41 How blessed is he who ^(A)considers the ^[a]poor;
Yahweh will provide him escape ^(B)in a day of ^[b]calamity.
² Yahweh will ^(C)keep him and keep him alive,
And he shall be ^(D)blessed upon the earth;
And ^(E)do not give him over to the desire of his enemies.
³ Yahweh will sustain him upon his sickbed;
In his illness, You ^[c]restore him to health.

⁶ Is this not the fast which I choose,
To ^(A)loosen the bonds of wickedness,
To release the bands of ^[a]the yoke,
And to ^(B)let the oppressed go free
And ^(C)break every ^[b]yoke?
⁷ Is it not to ^(D)divide your bread ^[c]with the hungry
And ^(E)bring the afflicted homeless into the house;
When you see the ^(F)naked, you cover him;
And not to ^(G)hide yourself from your own flesh?

¹⁰ And if you ^[a](A)offer your soul to the hungry
And satisfy the soul of the afflicted,
Then your ^(B)light will rise in darkness
And your thick darkness will become like midday.
