Psalm 40:3-5
English Standard Version
3 He put (A)a new song in my mouth,
a song of praise to our God.
Many will (B)see and fear,
and put their trust in the Lord.
4 Blessed is the man who (C)makes
the Lord his trust,
who does not turn to the proud,
to those who (D)go astray after a lie!
5 You have multiplied, O Lord my God,
your (E)wondrous deeds and your (F)thoughts toward us;
none can compare with you!
I will proclaim and tell of them,
yet they are (G)more than can be told.
Psalm 40:3-5
New International Version
3 He put a new song(A) in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear the Lord(B)
and put their trust(C) in him.
4 Blessed is the one(D)
who trusts in the Lord,(E)
who does not look to the proud,(F)
to those who turn aside to false gods.[a](G)
5 Many, Lord my God,
are the wonders(H) you have done,
the things you planned for us.
None can compare(I) with you;
were I to speak and tell of your deeds,
they would be too many(J) to declare.
