Psalm 40:10-12

10 I have not concealed Your righteousness within my heart; I have proclaimed Your faithfulness and Your salvation. I have not hid away Your steadfast love and Your truth from the great assembly.(A)

11 Withhold not Your tender mercy from me, O Lord; let Your loving-kindness and Your truth continually preserve me!

12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about; my iniquities have taken such hold on me that I am not able to look up. They are more than the hairs of my head, and my heart has failed me and forsaken me.

10 I do not hide your righteousness in my heart;
    I speak of your faithfulness(A) and your saving help.
I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness
    from the great assembly.(B)

11 Do not withhold your mercy(C) from me, Lord;
    may your love(D) and faithfulness(E) always protect(F) me.
12 For troubles(G) without number surround me;
    my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see.(H)
