Psalm 37:7-11
New King James Version

7 Rest in the Lord, (A)and wait patiently for Him;
Do not fret because of him who (B)prospers in his way,
Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
8 (C)Cease from anger, and forsake wrath;
(D)Do not fret—it only causes harm.

9 For evildoers shall be [a]cut off;
But those who wait on the Lord,
They shall (E)inherit the earth.
10 For (F)yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more;
Indeed, (G)you will look carefully for his place,
But it shall be no more.
11 (H)But the meek shall inherit the earth,
And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

7 Be still(A) before the Lord
    and wait patiently(B) for him;
do not fret(C) when people succeed in their ways,(D)
    when they carry out their wicked schemes.(E)

8 Refrain from anger(F) and turn from wrath;
    do not fret(G)—it leads only to evil.
9 For those who are evil will be destroyed,(H)
    but those who hope(I) in the Lord will inherit the land.(J)

10 A little while, and the wicked will be no more;(K)
    though you look for them, they will not be found.
11 But the meek will inherit the land(L)
    and enjoy peace and prosperity.(M)
