^34 (A)Wait for the Lord and keep His way,
And He will exalt you to inherit the land;
When the ^(B)wicked are cut off, you will see it.

³⁶ Then ^[a]he passed away, and lo, he ^(A)was no more;
I sought for him, but he could not be found.

¹⁰ The ^(A)righteous will rejoice when he ^(B)sees the vengeance;
He will ^(C)wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.

⁸ You will only look on with your eyes
And ^(A)see the recompense of the wicked.

¹¹ And my eye has ^(A)looked exultantly upon ^[a]my foes,
My ears hear of the evildoers who rise up against me.
