18 Now the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him—
those who depend on His faithful love(A)
19 to deliver them from death
and to keep them alive in famine.(B)
20 We wait for Yahweh;(C)
He is our help and shield.(D)
21 For our hearts rejoice in Him(E)
because we trust in His holy name.(F)
22 May Your faithful love rest on us, Yahweh,
for we put our hope in You.(G)

over those who wait for his grace
19 to rescue them from death

20 We are waiting for Adonai;
he is our help and shield.

because we put our hope in you.
