Psalm 33:12-22
King James Version
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
13 The Lord looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.
14 From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
15 He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.
16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
20 Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield.
21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
22 Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

12
Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people whom He has chosen as His own inheritance.(A)
13
The Lord looks [down] from heaven;
He sees all the sons of man;
14
From His dwelling place He looks closely
Upon all the inhabitants of the earth—
15
He who fashions the hearts of them all,
Who considers and understands all that they do.
16
The king is not saved by the great size of his army;
A warrior is not rescued by his great strength.
17
A horse is a false hope for victory;
Nor does it deliver anyone by its great strength.
18
Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon those who fear Him [and worship Him with awe-inspired reverence and obedience],
On those who hope [confidently] in His compassion and lovingkindness,
19
To rescue their lives from death
And keep them alive in famine.
20
We wait [expectantly] for the Lord;
He is our help and our shield.
21
For in Him our heart rejoices,
Because we trust [lean on, rely on, and are confident] in His holy name.
22
Let Your [steadfast] lovingkindness, O Lord, be upon us,
In proportion as we have [a]hoped in You.

13 El Señor mira desde los cielos(C);
Él ve a todos los hijos de los hombres(D).
14 Desde el lugar de su morada Él observa
A todos los habitantes de la tierra(E);
15 Él es el que modela el corazón de cada uno de ellos(F);
Él es el que entiende todas las obras de ellos(G).
16 El rey no se salva por gran ejército;
Ni es librado el valiente por la mucha fuerza(H).
17 Falsa esperanza de victoria[a] es el caballo(I),
Ni con su mucha fuerza puede librar.
18 Los ojos del Señor están sobre los que le temen(J),
Sobre los que esperan en Su misericordia(K),
19 Para librar su alma de la muerte(L),
Y conservarlos con vida en tiempos de hambre(M).
20 Nuestra alma espera al Señor(N);
Él es nuestra ayuda y nuestro escudo(O);
21 Pues en Él(P) se regocija nuestro corazón,
Porque en Su santo nombre hemos confiado.
22 Sea sobre nosotros Tu misericordia, oh Señor,
Según hemos esperado en Ti.
