⁷ Yahweh is my ^(A)strength and my ^(B)shield;
My heart ^(C)trusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore ^(D)my heart exults,
And with ^(E)my song I shall thank Him.

²⁰ Our soul ^(A)is patient for Yahweh;
He is our ^(B)help and our shield.

¹¹ Do not slay them, ^(A)or my people will forget;
^(B)Make them wander about by Your power, and bring them down,
O Lord, ^(C)our shield.

⁹ See our ^(A)shield, O God,
And look upon the face of ^(B)Your anointed.

¹¹ For Yahweh God is ^(A)a sun and ^(B)shield;
Yahweh gives grace and ^(C)glory;
^(D)No good thing does He withhold ^[a]from those who walk blamelessly.

⁵ Every ^(A)word of God is ^[a]tested;
He is a ^(B)shield to those who take refuge in Him.
