Psalm 21
King James Version
21 The king shall joy in thy strength, O Lord; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
2 Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.
3 For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.
4 He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.
5 His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.
6 For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.
7 For the king trusteth in the Lord, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.
8 Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
9 Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the Lord shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
10 Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.
11 For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.
12 Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.
13 Be thou exalted, Lord, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.

21 O Lord the king will delight in Your strength,
And in Your salvation how greatly will he rejoice!
2
You have given him his heart’s desire,
And You have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah.
3
For You meet him with blessings of good things;
You set a crown of pure gold on his head.
4
He asked life of You,
And You gave it to him,
Long life forever and evermore.
5
His glory is great because of Your victory;
Splendor and majesty You bestow upon him.
6
For You make him most blessed [and a blessing] forever;
You make him joyful with the joy of Your presence.(A)
7
For the king [confidently] trusts in the Lord,
And through the lovingkindness (faithfulness, goodness) of the Most High he will never be shaken.
8
Your hand will reach out and defeat all your enemies;
Your right hand will reach those who hate you.
9
You will make them as [if in] a blazing oven in the time of your anger;
The Lord will swallow them up in His wrath,
And the fire will devour them.
10
Their offspring You will destroy from the earth,
And their descendants from the sons of men.
11
For they planned evil against You;
They devised a [malevolent] plot
And they will not succeed.
12
For You will make them turn their backs [in defeat];
You will aim Your bowstring [of divine justice] at their faces.
13
Be exalted, Lord, in Your strength;
We will sing and praise Your power.

21 Oh Señor, en Tu fortaleza se alegrará el rey(A),
¡Y cuánto se regocijará en Tu salvación!
2 Tú le has dado el deseo de su corazón(B),
Y no le has negado la petición de sus labios. (Selah)
3 Porque le sales al encuentro con bendiciones de bien(C);
Corona de oro fino colocas en su cabeza(D).
4 Vida te pidió y Tú se la diste(E),
Largura de días eternamente y para siempre(F).
5 Grande es su gloria por Tu salvación(G),
Esplendor y majestad has puesto sobre él(H).
6 Pues le haces bienaventurado para siempre(I);
Con Tu presencia le deleitas con alegría(J).
7 Porque el rey confía en el Señor(K),
Y por la misericordia del Altísimo no será conmovido(L).
8 Hallará Tu mano a todos Tus enemigos(M);
Tu diestra hallará a aquellos que te odian.
9 Los harás como horno encendido(N) en el tiempo de Tu enojo.
El Señor en Su ira los devorará(O),
Y fuego los consumirá(P).
10 Su descendencia destruirás de la superficie de la tierra,
Y sus descendientes(Q) de entre los hijos de los hombres.
11 Aunque intentaron el mal contra Ti(R),
Y fraguaron una conspiración(S),
No prevalecerán,
12 Pues Tú los pondrás en fuga(T),
Apuntarás a sus rostros con Tu arco(U).
13 Engrandécete, oh Señor, en Tu poder;
Cantaremos y alabaremos Tu poderío(V).
