⁶ “But as for Me, I have ^[a]installed ^(A)My King
Upon Zion, ^(B)My holy mountain.”

⁷ “I will surely tell of the ^[b]decree of Yahweh:
He said to Me, ‘You are ^(C)My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
⁸ Ask of Me, and ^(D)I will surely give ^(E)the ^[c]nations as Your inheritance,
And the ^(F)ends of the earth as Your possession.
⁹ You shall ^[d](G)break them with a ^[e]rod of iron,
You shall ^(H)shatter them like a potter’s vessel.’”

⁸ May he also have dominion ^(A)from sea to sea
And from the River to the ends of the earth.
^9 [a]Let ^(B)the desert creatures ^(C)kneel before him,
And his enemies ^(D)lick the dust.
^10 [b]Let the kings of ^(E)Tarshish and of the ^(F)coastlands bring a present;
The kings of ^(G)Sheba and ^(H)Seba ^(I)offer tribute.
^11 [c]And let all ^(J)kings bow down to him,
All ^(K)nations serve him.

⁶ He says, “It is too ^[a]small a thing that You should be My Servant
To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to cause the ^(A)preserved ones of Israel to return;
I will also give You as a ^(B)light ^[b]of the nations
So that My salvation may ^[c]reach to the ^(C)end of the earth.”
