Psalm 2:6-12
New American Standard Bible
7 “I will announce the [a]decree of the Lord:
He said to Me, ‘You are (C)My Son,
Today I have fathered You.
8 Ask it of Me, and (D)I will certainly give (E)the [b]nations as Your inheritance,
And the (F)ends of the earth as Your possession.
9 You shall [c](G)break them with a [d]rod of iron,
You shall (H)shatter them like [e]earthenware.’”
10 Now then, you kings, (I)use insight;
Let yourselves be instructed, you [f]judges of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with [g](J)reverence
And rejoice with (K)trembling.
12 [h]Kiss (L)the Son, that He not be angry and you perish on the way,
For (M)His wrath may be kindled quickly.
How blessed are all who (N)take refuge in Him!
