“I have consecrated My King[a]
on Zion, My holy mountain.”(A)

I will declare the Lord’s decree:
He said to Me, “You are My Son;[b]
today I have become Your[c] Father.(B)
Ask of Me,
and I will make the nations Your[d] inheritance
and the ends of the earth Your[e] possession.(C)
You will break[f] them with a rod of iron;
You[g] will shatter them like pottery.”[h](D)

10 So now, kings, be wise;
receive instruction, you judges of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with reverential awe
and rejoice with trembling.(E)
12 Pay homage to[i] the Son or He[j] will be angry
and you will perish in your rebellion,[k](F)
for His[l] anger may ignite at any moment.(G)
All those who take refuge in Him[m] are happy.(H)
