Psalm 1
1 Oh, the joys of those who do not
follow the advice of the wicked,
or stand around with sinners,
or join in with mockers.
2 But they delight in the law of the Lord,
meditating on it day and night.
3 They are like trees planted along the riverbank,
bearing fruit each season.
Their leaves never wither,
and they prosper in all they do.
4 But not the wicked!
They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind.
5 They will be condemned at the time of judgment.
Sinners will have no place among the godly.
6 For the Lord watches over the path of the godly,
but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.

Ang Pulong Sa Dios
Bulahan ang Tawo nga Matarong
1 Bulahan ang tawo nga wala nagakinabuhi sumala sa tambag sa mga daotang tawo,
wala nagasunod sa ginabuhat sa mga makasasala,
ug wala nagapakig-uban sa mga bugalbugalon.
2 Kondili, nagakalipay siya sa pagsunod sa mga katudloanan nga gikan sa Ginoo,
ug nagapamalandong siya niini adlaw ug gabii.
3 Sama siya sa kahoy nga gitanom sa daplin sa sapa,
nga mamunga sa panahon sa tingbunga,
ug dili malaya ang mga dahon.
Ug ang tanan niyang buhaton magmalampuson.
4 Apan dili ingon niana ang mga tawong daotan;
sama sila sa tahop nga paliron lang sa hangin.
5 Busa sa adlaw sa paghukom, silotan sila sa Dios,
ug dili sila iipon sa mga matarong.
6 Kay ginagiyahan sa Ginoo ang pagkinabuhi sa mga matarong,
apan ang pagkinabuhi sa mga daotan maghatod kanila ngadto sa kalaglagan.
