25 With (A)the kind You show Yourself kind;
With the [a]blameless (B)You show Yourself blameless;
26 With the pure You show Yourself (C)pure,
And with the crooked (D)You show Yourself [b]astute.
27 For You (E)save an afflicted people,
But (F)haughty eyes You abase.
28 For You (G)light my lamp;
The Lord my God (H)illumines my darkness.
29 For by You I can [c](I)run upon a troop;
And by my God I can (J)leap over a wall.

30 As for God, His way is [d](K)blameless;
The (L)word of the Lord is tried;
He is a (M)shield to all who take refuge in Him.
31 For (N)who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a (O)rock, except our God,
32 The God who (P)girds me with strength
And [e]makes my way [f](Q)blameless?
33 He (R)makes my feet like hinds’ feet,
And (S)sets me upon my high places.
34 He (T)trains my hands for battle,
So that my arms can (U)bend a bow of bronze.
35 You have also given me (V)the shield of Your salvation,
And Your (W)right hand upholds me;
And (X)Your [g]gentleness makes me great.
36 You (Y)enlarge my steps under me,
And my [h](Z)feet have not slipped.

37 I (AA)pursued my enemies and overtook them,
And I did not turn back (AB)until they were consumed.
38 I shattered them, so that they were (AC)not able to rise;
They fell (AD)under my feet.
39 For You have (AE)girded me with strength for battle;
You have [i](AF)subdued under me those who rose up against me.
40 You have also made my enemies (AG)turn their backs to me,
And I [j](AH)destroyed those who hated me.
41 They cried for help, but there was (AI)none to save,
Even to the Lord, but (AJ)He did not answer them.
42 Then I beat them fine as the (AK)dust before the wind;
I emptied them out as the mire of the streets.

43 You have delivered me from the (AL)contentions of the people;
You have placed me as (AM)head of the nations;
A (AN)people whom I have not known serve me.
44 As soon as they hear, they obey me;
Foreigners [k](AO)submit to me.
45 Foreigners (AP)fade away,
And (AQ)come trembling out of their [l]fortresses.

46 The Lord (AR)lives, and blessed be (AS)my rock;
And exalted be (AT)the God of my salvation,
47 The God who (AU)executes vengeance for me,
And (AV)subdues peoples under me.
48 He (AW)delivers me from my enemies;
Surely You (AX)lift me above those who rise up against me;
You rescue me from the (AY)violent man.
49 Therefore I will (AZ)give thanks to You among the nations, O Lord,
And I will (BA)sing praises to Your name.
50 He gives great [m](BB)deliverance to His king,
And shows lovingkindness to (BC)His anointed,
To David and (BD)his [n]descendants forever.
