English Standard Version

8     (A)the Lord opens the eyes of the blind.
(B)The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down;
    (C)the Lord loves the righteous.
9 (D)The Lord watches over the sojourners;
    (E)he upholds the widow and the fatherless,
    but (F)the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.

10 (G)The Lord will reign forever,
    your God, O Zion, to all generations.
(H)Praise the Lord!

    and sustains the fatherless(F) and the widow,(G)
    but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.

10 The Lord reigns(H) forever,
