Psalm 146:4-9

4 When their breath departs, they return to the earth;
on that very day their plans perish.(A)
5 Happy are those whose help is the God of Jacob,
whose hope is in the Lord their God,(B)
6 who made heaven and earth,
the sea, and all that is in them;
who keeps faith forever;(C)
7 who executes justice for the oppressed;
who gives food to the hungry.
The Lord sets the prisoners free;(D)
8 the Lord opens the eyes of the blind.
The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down;
the Lord loves the righteous.(E)
9 The Lord watches over the strangers;
he upholds the orphan and the widow,
but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.(F)

on that very day their plans come to nothing.(B)
5 Blessed are those(C) whose help(D) is the God of Jacob,
whose hope is in the Lord their God.
6 He is the Maker of heaven(E) and earth,
the sea, and everything in them—
he remains faithful(F) forever.
7 He upholds(G) the cause of the oppressed(H)
and gives food to the hungry.(I)
The Lord sets prisoners free,(J)
8 the Lord gives sight(K) to the blind,(L)
the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down,(M)
the Lord loves the righteous.(N)
9 The Lord watches over the foreigner(O)
and sustains the fatherless(P) and the widow,(Q)
but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.
