Psalm 141:6-8

English Standard Version

⁶When their judges are ^(A)thrown over the cliff,^[a]
then they shall hear my words, for they are pleasant.
⁷As when one plows and breaks up the earth,
so shall our bones ^(B)be scattered at the mouth of Sheol.^[b]

⁸But ^(C)my eyes are toward you, O God, my Lord;
^(D)in you I seek refuge; leave me not defenseless!^[c]

and the wicked will learn that my words were well spoken.
⁷They will say, “As one plows^(B) and breaks up the earth,^(C)
so our bones have been scattered at the mouth^(D) of the grave.”
