12 Our Lord, I know that you
    defend the homeless
and see that the poor
    are given justice.
13 Your people will praise you
and will live with you
    because they do right.

11 May slanderers not be established in the land;
    may disaster hunt down the violent.(A)

12 I know that the Lord secures justice for the poor(B)
    and upholds the cause(C) of the needy.(D)
13 Surely the righteous will praise your name,(E)
