7 Remember the children of [a]Edom, O Lord, in the [b]day of Jerusalem, which said, Raze it, raze it to the foundation thereof.
8 O daughter of Babel, worthy to be destroyed, blessed shall he be that rewardeth thee, as thou hast served us.
9 [c]Blessed shall he be that taketh and dasheth thy children against the stones.

7 Remember, Lord, what the Edomites(A) did
on the day Jerusalem fell.(B)
“Tear it down,” they cried,
“tear it down to its foundations!”(C)
8 Daughter Babylon, doomed to destruction,(D)
happy is the one who repays you
according to what you have done to us.
9 Happy is the one who seizes your infants
and dashes them(E) against the rocks.
