127 Unless the Lord ^(A)builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord ^(B)guards the city,
The watchman keeps awake in vain.

⁴ But I said, “I have ^(A)toiled in vain,
I have spent My strength for nothing and vanity;
Yet surely the justice due to Me is with the Lord,
And My ^(B)reward with My God.”

¹³ “They have ^(A)sown wheat and have reaped thorns,
They have ^(B)strained themselves ^[a]to no profit.
But be ashamed of your ^[b](C)harvest
Because of the ^(D)fierce anger of the Lord.”
